Service & Support

Product Authenticity & Warranty

Are all memory and SSDs sold here brand new and genuine?

All memory and SSDs are brand new, original products from official channels. We support official serial number verification and reject refurbished, reset, second-hand, or re-marked products. All products come with official warranty service.

Do products support nationwide warranty? Can individuals submit warranty claims?

Yes, nationwide warranty is supported. Most brands allow individuals to submit warranty claims directly with the product serial number, no invoice required. We also provide warranty assistance, process guidance, and technical support.

Will appearance, heatsinks, or chips differ between batches of the same model?

This is normal. Manufacturers adjust chip suppliers, PCB versions, and heatsink designs based on production capacity and supply chain conditions. As long as the model specifications are the same, performance, stability, and warranty standards are fully consistent.

What if the package is damaged, accessories are missing, or there are cosmetic defects?

Please contact customer service within 24 hours of receipt with clear product photos and shipping label information. We will verify and arrange a replacement as soon as possible, with all shipping costs covered by us.

Memory Selection & Compatibility

How do I determine if my computer supports DDR4 or DDR5 memory?

You can check your motherboard/laptop official specifications, use CPU-Z/AIDA64 to view current memory specs, or provide your computer model for us to check for free. DDR4 and DDR5 have different notch positions and are not interchangeable.

Can desktop and laptop memory be used interchangeably?

No. Desktops use standard DIMM modules while laptops use SO-DIMM modules. They differ in size, pin count, and electrical specifications. Mixing them may prevent booting or damage hardware.

Can different brands or frequencies of memory be mixed?

Yes, but they should be the same generation (DDR4 with DDR4, DDR5 with DDR5). Different frequencies will automatically run at the lower speed. Asymmetric capacities work but may not enable dual-channel. For best stability, use matching brand, frequency, and timing kits.

What is dual-channel memory? Does it significantly improve performance?

Dual-channel means two memory modules working in parallel, doubling memory bandwidth. It noticeably improves integrated graphics performance, gaming frame rates, video editing, and multitasking. We recommend configuring dual-channel (e.g., 8GB+8GB, 16GB+16GB).

Is higher memory frequency always better? What is XMP/EXPO?

Higher frequency means greater theoretical bandwidth, but it must be supported by the CPU and motherboard, otherwise it will auto-downclock. XMP (Intel) / EXPO (AMD) are preset overclocking profiles that enable memory to run at its rated frequency.

Can ECC server memory be used in consumer PCs?

Most consumer desktops and laptops do not support ECC. Installing ECC memory may prevent the system from booting or running stably. Not recommended for regular users.

How should I choose memory capacity?

8GB for light office work and browsing; 16GB is mainstream for gaming, office, and daily creation; 32GB for AAA games, streaming, video editing, and multitasking; 64GB+ for professional editing, 3D rendering, virtual machines, and deep learning.

SSD Selection & Specifications

What are the differences between SATA SSD, NVMe M.2, and PCIe 3.0/4.0?

SATA SSDs offer ~500MB/s speeds with excellent compatibility, ideal for older PC upgrades. NVMe M.2 PCIe 3.0 reaches ~3000MB/s as the mainstream high-speed choice. NVMe M.2 PCIe 4.0 can reach 5000-7000MB/s for flagship performance. Interfaces are not cross-compatible, so verify your interface type before purchasing.

What do M.2 Key B and Key M mean?

Key B typically supports SATA/PCIe x2 lanes; Key M supports PCIe x4 lanes for higher-speed NVMe SSDs. For daily use, prioritize M.2 2280 Key M for the best compatibility.

How should I choose between TLC and QLC flash?

TLC (3-bit) offers balanced lifespan and performance, ideal for home, gaming, and office use. QLC (4-bit) provides larger capacity at lower cost with good sequential performance but slightly weaker random performance, suitable for storage drives.

What is TBW? Will an SSD break when its lifespan is used up?

TBW is the total designed write volume for an SSD. Normal home use rarely exhausts TBW. When approaching the limit, the SSD enters read-only protection mode, allowing data backup without sudden data loss.

How should I choose SSD capacity? How to pair system and storage drives?

System drive: start at 512GB, 1TB recommended for smoother operation. Game/media drives: 1TB-4TB based on needs. Avoid filling SSDs beyond 90% to maintain performance and lifespan.

Can a PCIe 4.0 SSD be used on a PCIe 3.0 motherboard?

Yes, it is backward compatible. Speed will be limited to PCIe 3.0 levels, but stability and warranty are unaffected. It is also future-proof for platform upgrades.

Installation & System Setup

Do I need to reinstall the OS when adding memory or an SSD?

Adding memory requires no reinstall — it is recognized on boot. Adding a second SSD as storage also requires no reinstall. Only replacing the existing system drive requires OS migration or fresh installation. We provide migration tutorials and partition guidance.

What if a newly installed SSD does not show up in the computer?

Ensure the interface is firmly connected. Try a different M.2 slot on desktops. Check BIOS for drive detection. In Windows, open Disk Management, initialize the new SSD, create a simple volume, and format it.

Should I partition my SSD? Does partitioning affect performance?

Partitioning is recommended for file organization. The number of partitions does not affect SSD performance or lifespan, as long as the drive is not kept full for extended periods.

Does an SSD need regular defragmentation?

No, and it is not recommended. SSDs use a different read/write mechanism than HDDs, and defragmentation adds unnecessary writes. Modern operating systems have built-in TRIM that automatically optimizes SSDs.

Can HDDs and SSDs be used together?

Absolutely. Use the SSD as the system drive for speed, and the HDD as storage for photos, videos, and backups to reduce large-capacity storage costs.

Should I worry about static electricity when installing memory and SSDs?

Touch a metal object before handling to discharge static. Always power off the system. For laptops, unplug the power adapter and disconnect the internal battery if possible.

Performance & User Experience

Why is my SSD benchmark speed much lower than advertised?

This is normal. Speed is affected by motherboard lane limitations, CPU platform differences, testing software, file sizes, remaining space, and temperature. Results within a reasonable range are expected.

Does high temperature affect memory and SSD performance? Should I add heatsinks?

High temperatures trigger thermal throttling, reducing performance. For heavy workloads, M.2 SSDs benefit from heatsinks. Laptops with limited space need extra attention to ventilation.

Will upgrading memory definitely make my computer faster?

If your current memory is insufficient (lag, crashes when multitasking, high usage), the improvement will be very noticeable. If memory is already adequate, upgrades mainly improve multitasking capability with limited impact on single-core performance or gaming FPS.

Does SSD performance degrade over time? How to maintain optimal performance?

Performance degradation is minimal under normal use. Avoid keeping the drive full, prevent unexpected power loss, enable system TRIM, and periodically check health status with the manufacturer's toolkit.

After-Sales, Technical Service & Orders

How to troubleshoot blue screens, freezes, or boot failures with memory or SSDs?
